Vulnerability Overview

Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in bulletproof-security/admin/options.php in the BulletProof Security plugin before .47.1 for WordPress allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING header.

REMEDIATION: Update to version .47.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
