Vulnerability Overview

WordPress 2.9 before 2.9.2 allows remote authenticated users to read trash posts from other authors via a direct request with a modified p parameter.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.9.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
