Vulnerability Overview

The Zephyr Project Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.100 via the updateTaskStatus() due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to edit task statuses that do not belong to them.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.3.101, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
