Vulnerability Overview

The Restaurant & Cafe Addon for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.2. This is due to missing nonce validation on the rcafe_bw_settings_save_func(), rctl_bw_toggle_submit_func(), rcafe_uw_settings_save_func(), and rctl_uw_toggle_submit_func() functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the plugin's settings via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.5.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
