Vulnerability Overview

The Responsive Starter Templates – Elementor & WordPress Templates plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.6.8. This allows authenticated users with Administrator-level permissions or above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.6.9, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
