Vulnerability Overview

The Profile Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 3.4.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the 'Modify default Redirect Delay timer' setting. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers. with administrator-level privileges or higher, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.4.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
