Vulnerability Overview

The Modern Events Calendar Lite WordPress plugin before 6.1.5 does not sanitise and escape the current_month_divider parameter of its mec_list_load_more AJAX call (available to both unauthenticated and authenticated users) before outputting it back in the response, leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue

REMEDIATION: Update to version 6.1.5, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
