Vulnerability Overview

The Elementor Website Builder for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.7.5 that makes it possible for attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via the elementor_js_log AJAX action. This requires low-level authenticated user access to exploit.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.7.6, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
