Vulnerability Overview

The Build App Online plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the 'update_user_meta' and 'update_user_meta_value' functions in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.20. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber access and above, to update arbitrary user meta values and grant themselves administrator privileges.
