Vulnerability Overview

The BookingPress – Appointment Booking Calendar Plugin and Online Scheduling Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.81 due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with customer-level access and above, to access or perform an action on an object they should not have access to.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.0.82, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
