Vulnerability Overview

The Awin Data Feed WordPress plugin through 1.6 does not sanitise and escape a header when processing request to generate analytics data, allowing unauthenticated users to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks against a logged in admin viewing the plugin's settings

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
