Vulnerability Overview

The Awin Data Feed WordPress plugin through 1.7 does not sanitise and escape a parameter before outputting it back via an AJAX action (available to both unauthenticated and authenticated users), leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
