Vulnerability Overview

Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the All In One WP Security & Firewall plugin before 3.9.0 for WordPress allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that delete logs of 404 (aka Not Found) HTTP status codes.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.9.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
