Vulnerability Overview

Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in wp-login.php in WordPress 3.7.4, 3.8.4, 3.9.2, and 4.0 allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of arbitrary users for requests that reset passwords.

REMEDIATION: Update to one of the following versions, or a newer patched version: 3.7.4, 3.8.4, 3.9.2 --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
