Vulnerability Overview

In WordPress before 4.7.5, a Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in the filesystem credentials dialog because a nonce is not required for updating credentials.

REMEDIATION: Update to one of the following versions, or a newer patched version: 3.7.21, 3.8.21, 3.9.19, 4.0.18, 4.1.18, 4.2.15, 4.3.11, 4.4.10, 4.5.9, 4.6.6, 4.7.5 --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
