Vulnerability Overview

The Newsmag WordPress theme before 5.0 does not sanitise the td_block_id parameter in its td_ajax_block AJAX action, leading to an unauthenticated Reflected Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 5.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
