Vulnerability Overview
The Zita Elementor Site Library plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to a missing capability check on the import functions found in inc/admin-ajax.php in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload malicious files that can be used for remote code execution.

Any user who can reach the endpoint gets to run an action reserved for higher-privileged roles, from reading protected data to changing settings or content. For Zita Site Library for Elementor the fix is 1.6.2: builds <= 1.6.1 are affected, anything from 1.6.2 onward is not.
