Vulnerability Overview

Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in includes/options-profiles.php in the YouTube Embed plugin before 3.3.3 for WordPress allows remote administrators to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the Profile name field (youtube_embed_name parameter).

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.3.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
