Vulnerability Overview

Authenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in YITH Maintenance Mode (WordPress plugin) versions <= 1.3.7, vulnerable parameter &yith_maintenance_newsletter_submit_label. Possible even when unfiltered HTML is disallowed by WordPress configuration.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.3.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
