Vulnerability Overview

The XML Sitemap Generator for Google WordPress plugin before 2.0.4 does not validate a parameter which can be set to an arbitrary value, thus causing XSS via error message or RCE if allow_url_include is turned on.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.0.4, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
