Vulnerability Overview
The Google Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server Side Request Forgery in versions before 0.92. This allowed Unauthenticated attackers to proxy requests through the plugin to an attacker-controlled host, which could also lead to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting scenario.
Technical Analysis
REMEDIATION: Update to version 0.92, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-918 (Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)) The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination.
