Vulnerability Overview

The Comments - wpDiscuz WordPress plugin through 7.3.0 does not properly sanitize or escape the Follow and Unfollow messages before outputting them in the page, which could allow high privilege users to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 7.3.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
