Vulnerability Overview

The WPCargo Track & Trace WordPress plugin before 6.9.5 does not sanitise and escape the wpcargo_tracking_number parameter before outputting it back in the page, which could allow attackers to perform reflected Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 6.9.5, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
