Vulnerability Overview

The WP ULike plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Race Condition in versions up to, and including, 4.6.4. This can lead to unpredictable post rating changes when certain conditions are met.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 4.6.5, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-362 (Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition')) The product contains a concurrent code sequence that requires temporary, exclusive access to a shared resource, but a timing window exists in which the shared resource can be modified by another code sequence operating concurrently.
