Vulnerability Overview

The WP Statistics WordPress plugin before 13.2.2 does not sanitise the REQUEST_URI parameter before outputting it back in the rendered page, leading to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in web browsers which do not encode characters

REMEDIATION: Update to version 13.2.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
