Vulnerability Overview

The WP Statistics plugin through 12.6.5 for Wordpress has stored XSS in includes/class-wp-statistics-pages.php. This is related to an account with the Editor role creating a post with a title that contains JavaScript, to attack an admin user.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 12.6.6.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
