Vulnerability Overview

The WP Statistics plugin through 12.6.2 for WordPress has XSS, allowing a remote attacker to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the Referer header of a GET request.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 12.6.4, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
