Vulnerability Overview

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in admin/partials/wp-splashing-admin-sidebar.php in the Splashing Images plugin (wp-splashing-images) before 2.1.1 for WordPress allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the search parameter to wp-admin/upload.php.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.1.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
