Vulnerability Overview

The WP Prayer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.5.4. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the wpe_ajax_call function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to have users unknowingly execute actions via a forged request.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.5.5, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
