Vulnerability Overview

The WP Customer Reviews WordPress plugin before 3.5.6 did not sanitise some of its settings, allowing high privilege users such as administrators to set XSS payloads in them which will then be triggered in pages where reviews are enabled

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.5.6, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
