Vulnerability Overview

The WP Coder – Powerful HTML, CSS, JS and PHP Injection plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via settings in all versions up to, and including, 3.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with editor-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.5.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
