Vulnerability Overview

Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Wordfence Security plugin before 5.1.4 for WordPress allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the whoisval parameter on the WordfenceWhois page to wp-admin/admin.php.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 5.1.4, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
