Vulnerability Overview

The WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on an unknown unction in versions up to, and including, 5.1.2. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to access or modify information by passing in a user-conttrolled parameter.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 5.1.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
