Vulnerability Overview

The WooPayments – Fully Integrated Solution Built and Supported by Woo plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 6.6.2 due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to access unintended objects.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 6.7.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
