Vulnerability Overview

The WebP Converter for Media WordPress plugin before 4.0.3 contains a file (passthru.php) which does not validate the src parameter before redirecting the user to it, leading to an Open Redirect issue

REMEDIATION: Update to version 4.0.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-601 (URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect')) The web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a redirect.
