Vulnerability Overview

The Unlimited Elements For Elementor (Free Widgets, Addons, Templates) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.89 via the template import functionality. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor access and above, to execute code on the server.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.5.91, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-1336 (Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine) The product uses a template engine to insert or process externally-influenced input, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements or syntax that can be interpreted as template expressions or other code directives when processed by the engine.
