Vulnerability Overview

The Tickera – WordPress Event Ticketing plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 3.5.2.4 via the order_key parameter due to missing validation on the user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view other users tickets

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.5.2.5, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
