Vulnerability Overview

The Tabs WordPress plugin before 2.2.8 does not sanitise and escape Tab descriptions, which could allow high privileged users with a role as low as editor to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.2.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
