Vulnerability Overview

The Stop Spammers Security | Block Spam Users, Comments, Forms WordPress plugin before 2021.18 does not escape some of its settings, allowing high privilege users such as admin to set Cross-Site Scripting payloads in them even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2021.18, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
