Vulnerability Overview

The NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster <= 4.3.20 WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the $_REQUEST['page'] parameter which is echoed out on inc/nxs_class_snap.php by supplying the appropriate value 'nxssnap-post' to load the page in $_GET['page'] along with malicious JavaScript in $_POST['page'].

REMEDIATION: Update to version 4.3.21, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
