Vulnerability Overview

Multiple plugins by ShapedPlugin contain a backdoor in various versions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to achieve backdoor access to sites with the compromised copy of the software installed. CVE-2026-49777 is a duplicate of this CVE.

Removing the software is not enough on its own — anything it created or modified while active has to be audited too. For Smart Post Show Pro the fix is 4.0.2: builds < 4.0.2 are affected, anything from 4.0.2 onward is not.

Update to version 4.0.2, or a newer patched version
