Vulnerability Overview

The SlideDeck 2 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local/Remote File Inclusion in versions up to, and including, 2.3.3. This allows unauthenticated attackers to include local/remote files on the server, resulting in code execution.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.3.5, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-98 (Improper Control of Filename for Include/Require Statement in PHP Program ('PHP Remote File Inclusion')) The PHP application receives input from an upstream component, but it does not restrict or incorrectly restricts the input before its usage in require, include, or similar functions.
