Vulnerability Overview

process_forms in the WPML (aka sitepress-multilingual-cms) plugin through 3.6.3 for WordPress has XSS via any locale_file_name_ parameter (such as locale_file_name_en) in an unauthenticated theme-localization.php request to wp-admin/admin.php.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 4.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
