Vulnerability Overview

The Site Reviews WordPress plugin before 5.17.3 does not sanitise and escape the site-reviews parameter of the glsr_action AJAX action (available to unauthenticated and any authenticated users), allowing them to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks against logged in admins viewing the Tool dashboard of the plugin

REMEDIATION: Update to version 5.17.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
