Vulnerability Overview
The Simple calendar for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.6.5. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the miga_ajax_editor_cal_delete() and miga_ajax_editor_cal_update() functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to edit and delate calendar data via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Cross-site request forgery abuses the fact that browsers attach a victim's cookies to any request, so a state-changing action that only checks who you are, not whether you meant to act, can be triggered from another site.
An attacker who gets a logged-in user to load a crafted page can perform that action as them, with the impact scaling to whatever the victim's role is allowed to do. For Simple calendar for Elementor the fix is 1.6.6: builds <= 1.6.5 are affected, anything from 1.6.6 onward is not.
