Vulnerability Overview

The shibboleth_login_form function in shibboleth.php in the Shibboleth plugin before 1.7 for WordPress is prone to an XSS vulnerability due to improper use of add_query_arg().

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.7, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
