Vulnerability Overview

A Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in /inc/class-search.php in the Sell Media plugin v2.4.1 for WordPress allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the keyword parameter (aka $search_term or the Search field).

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.4.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
