Vulnerability Overview

The Recipe Card Blocks for Gutenberg & Elementor – Best WordPress Recipe Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.3 via the render() function due to insufficient restrictions on which posts can be included. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to extract data from password protected, private, or draft posts that they should not have access to.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.4.4, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
