Vulnerability Overview

The QR Redirector WordPress plugin before 1.6.1 does not sanitise and escape some of the QR Redirect fields, which could allow users with a role as low as Contributor perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.6.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
