Vulnerability Overview

Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Push Notifications for WordPress (Lite) versions prior to 6.0.1 allows a remote attacker to hijack the authentication of an administrator and conduct an arbitrary operation via a specially crafted web page.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 6.0.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
